Hailed as a trio that "plays with virtuosity and energy that captivates audiences and shatters the boundaries of traditional chamber music, Nobilis Trio is recognized as one of the most exciting trios on the musical horizon.
Each member has a distinguished career as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician, and has appeared individually and as a trio with major orchestras and premier chamber music series throughout the United States and Europe.
Alumni of the prestigious Curtis Institute and Moscow and Peabody Conservatories, the members are active as recording artists, with discs released on the Sony and Naxos labels. They are frequently heard on National Public Radio's Performance Today, WGBH and WUBR Radio in Boston, and numerous syndicated and local radio programs across the United States and abroad, including Berlin Radio, Radio France, B.B.C. London, and CBC Radio Canada.
Among numerous prestigious awards are the Avery Fisher Career Grant, and medals at the Tchaikovsky International competitions.
